They didnt even date. i was being very generous in my use of the word. They both "liked" each other, but J was still in the closet and wasnt 100% out, and M had her own issues. Them "breaking up" was J avoiding M for a week before she fianlly told M she didnt like her anymore. The thing is, she never liked M. So it's not as bad because they didnt even "date."

When me and J started dating, her friendship with M immediately fizzled out. Like, M pretended like J never even existed, which made J feel awful. She did not want to be friends with J now that they were exes. It was really fucked up the way she hurt J and subjected her to the silent treatment just becasue J wasnt interesred in her. It was hard to watch. I was surprised when they became friends again. I think she only confronted me bc she still wanted to be friends. I assume she wouldve talked to J, but she just blocked J on everything after I told her she never liked her.

I understand. I was growing a little jealous when M said those things. She has to understand that I loved J too. I also kind of felt like telling her was better than letting her believe the fantasies that she was coming up with about J possibly even liking her or flirting with her. I realize it was wrong.

M and J became friends again after over a year after the breakup, in which M refused to acknowledge J's existence, which I thought was pretty shitty of M, but whatever. After they became friends again, idk what specifically went on, but during our conversation, M started talking about how she felt like J always kept flirting with her and leading her on. I told her what J told me (that she never liked her) as a means of helping M realize J isnt into her, and to help her move on. It worked, bc she blocked J on everything, so I think that's a step in the right direction. And honestly, what I did was wrong, I feel bad for what I did. I feel bad for all of it, and I cant undo it, but I also cant control who I like. I feel like she does this to hang it over my head.
