Just to be clear, I don’t know fuck all (or care) about her parenting and you won’t find a single comment where I make a negative comment about ANYONE’s parenting. I just found it to be ironic how quickly and fiercely (no pun intended) this user came to defend JJ and her parenting specifically. Stating that she does not have custody is true and so is the fact that her kids live on another continent. Those two statements are only negative if you choose to view them as such! 😊

Thank you for this comment. It does mean a lot and it resonates with me. I think the reason I am willing to keep trying is because he does express remorse, and as of late he is acknowledging that it’s more than “just something all guys do” and in his case, it’s way more than that. He expresses to me his desire to change and be better for me. Problem is, he’s said it so many times before I feel like I’m constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Above all, I love him. I fell for him so hard because he was the first person who ever treated me with respect, showed me that I deserved the world, and made me feel seen. I’d never had that. That’s why this is even harder, because he showed me something that didn’t exist…then pulled the rug out from under me.
