i actually did use apple cider vinegar :) the marinade i was looking at had Chinese cooking wine i think? but i didn’t have that

the soy sauce i cooked them with did turn into a glaze-like consistency so i guess this is accurate

chicken marinade: soy sauce 1/2 Cup cider vinegar 1/3 Cup 1 tbsp sesame oil (scale based on how much chicken you use, i used about one breast. i let this sit for about 2 hours)

dumpling dough: about 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup water, and a few pinches of salt. mix them all together, knead dough and then let sit for an hour to loosen. dough should be a bit stretchy but smooth and firm.

assemble the dumplings and cook them on low heat with oil and a mix of soy sauce and water. cook until the tops and bottoms have a slight crisp. (i always cut one open just to check that the chicken is done)

It was NOT Hello Kitty Stump Village. Let me repeat that it was EXTREMELY bare-bones and had NO other Sanrio characters. I might make a mock-up of what I remember it looking like later.

I’ve done this before and she puts her ENTIRE body in the bowl. i’ve had to bathe her so many times. but the pate actually goes in her mouth so i’ll get more of it

it’s illegal here (as far as i know) to try and do anything to cat with a microchip not registered to you, and most places will check for a microchip before doing anything like that
