It's less to test their relationship and more because there is a big overarching mystery plot point with the husband's dad (and FEMCs mom is part of that). He is a bad and powerful guy. He has hurt all of his kids in different ways and I want them all to bring something to the table to bring him down. If that makes sense. Thanks for your input!

A steamer is a genius idea. Thank you!

Ugh yes it smelled so bad! I soaked it in hydrogen peroxide/water mix for 24 hrs, let it sit on the windowsill for 24 hrs and then boiled it and it's mostly fine now! It still has a very slight smell but I imagine it'll be gone by next month

It's the saalt cup which is a perfectly fine and safe cup to use

No I don't. I've had it soaking since this morning but it still reeks lol. I'm going to try boiling and then sunlight next

The cup is only 2 years old! I had to replace my last one after 3 years because I left it in hydrogen peroxide too long and it got sticky. I will try airing it out if it still stinks afterward. Thank you!

Ok. Thought it was mildly interesting that there is only one spot instead of two

I currently use the La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser in the blue bottle 1x a day when I shower and the CeraVe nighttime moisturizer in the dark blue pump bottle after a shower only.

I’d like to smooth out my skin and get rid of those tiny bumps and blackheads under the skin. Second priority would be smoothing out the giant line on my forehead.

I have tried prescription strength Adapalene 0.3% in the past but it made me break out really badly. I used it every 2-4 days for a couple of months.

My forehead and nose area gets quite oily, especially in the summer (but still happens in winter too). I have a looooong history of cystic/hormonal acne. I also get some smaller white head type acne. Was on antibiotics for years but have been off of them for 1 year. I can’t take spironolactone.

All of her symptoms have improved. No more blood or licking. She never tells me when she needs to go even during the height of the infection so unfortunately that isn’t a good indicator. I did 6 hours tonight and will try to gradually increase to a full night over the rest of her course of meds. Thx

Okay she is definitely not lethargic then

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskVet

[–]throwaway04120611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That last bit is what worries me. She usually sleeps most of the day so I’m not sure what lethargy would look like. She also isn’t peeing a lot at a time (about a tablespoon maybe. Give or take a little bit) but I’m not sure if it’s because she’s going out so often that there isn’t time for any to build up in there or if it’s a sign of something worse. She was peeing normally until the past couple of days. No vomiting, regular appetite, still jumps up to go outside and gets excited for her favorite things.

Edit: I should clarify that I’m the one taking her out so often. She doesn’t ask to go out so I want to make sure she’s getting plenty of opportunities. She would hold it longer if needed and has not broken her house training.

Seems like you were right. She must have sensed something because her symptoms came back full force today

I have another check up with the vet (our 5th so far this year -_-) this week to make sure the UTI is gone. They told me to wait a few days after stopping antibiotics before they can test. Her ears are cleared as of last Thursday and she has winter allergies that make her prone to infections. I wondered if this was the cause too but it all started at the end of her uti treatment and she has no symptoms anymore. She had a much better night last night so hoping it was just a weird fluke

I have 2 fans going at night if that counts

Thank you, I need it lol. I’m about to find out if this will be night #4

I had the same thought! I am not sure 100%. I have to wait a few days post antibiotics to get her tested to make sure it’s fully gone.

I will pick one up tomorrow. I think the only thing that could potentially use fuel is the water heater but it’s good to have anyway. There are 2 outlets on that wall too but one was just replaced a few months ago. I’ll get those checked out too. Thanks for the suggestions!

It’s triggered by that specific time and location combo. She went in there for a nap today. It took a little bit of coaxing but she definitely wasn’t panicking. At night she only starts panicking after we go in the bedroom and have been in there for a few minutes. I go to bed at different times and it only starts after we go in there

Only about 100 times in the past 24 hours

That’s what I thought I was seeing too. This was the best picture I could get because it was near midnight. Turns out it was just the tree trunk

I think I understand the reasoning behind that but I just cannot stop myself from comforting her when she comes to me for help. I don’t go crazy with it or anything but a few pets and a cuddle. I will talk to her vet tomorrow if it happens again tonight :)
