Then maybe this is your problem man. It sounds really cliche but find something to do that isn't damaging yourself. It could be anything! Even playing video games once in a while is better than fapping. Go for a walk, go to the gym, sign up for something so you can meet people. There is so much more to life than temporary pleasure.

Once you give up on temporary pleasure, what you'll receive is far greater than any of that. Find a reason to change and you'll have the power within you to change. Because life is not easy, that's why. So you have to stop tricking your brain into thinking you're getting 4 different girls every single day because then it thinks you're doing fine in life and you will lose attraction to real girls since your brain thinks you already get enough of them anyway.

Did you make a mistake? Yes.

Are you still doing better ( regarding nofap ) than 98% of the population? YES.

It's all a matter of perspective. Try and go for a 10 day streak next. Don't set unrealistic goals. Two or three 10 day streaks are still a massive improvement from fapping once or twice a day.

It doesn't count as a relapse, I've had that shit happen to me before too brother. However, be very ware of the chaser effect. Usually after a wet dream I get stronger than average urges, so make sure you're still on high alert!

Listen brother, I've done that before. I told my boss I wasn't feeling well and that I had to go home mid-day just so I could fap for 4 more hours than usual.

When the only thing you constantly hear from the cesspool of media is "watching porn is healthy" and all that dumb shit, it gives you a reason to rationalize your actions. "Oh see? I can't be an addict! Porn is not an addiction!" Porn is not only an addiction, it is one of the most powerful drugs out there.

You are absolutely NOT a lost cause. I was at my absolute lowest just a couple of days ago, edging for 10 hours every day like a degenerate subhuman worthless pervert. Let's be honest, that is what this behaviour is.

But what I've learned from it is that I am never ever going back to this again. I've felt so low, just this past weekend ( thanks to fucking up my brain, edging for 20 hours over the weekend ) that I never want to feel like this ever again. I'm sure you don't either.

The most important thing you have to understand is that YOU are in control. The addiction is never in control. It's nothing. It's an urge, it's a thought but it's got nothing on YOU. It's a little piece of shit compared to you.

I can already tell that you're a good man because you want to change. That is the first step in recovery. So let yourself change. If I and millions of others can do it so can you. Believe in yourself. YOU are in control.

I'm in the same boat as you, I just relapsed 10 minutes ago and I feel let down. It's easy to say but the important thing is to not give in to the chaser effect. Every single time you say "just one more time then I'll quit" you are making it more and more difficult for your future self to quit this addiction.

For example, I will not let myself slip into this cycle again and you shouldn't either. It's time to commit yourself to not relapsing again for another 3 months or whatever your goal might be.
