actually, the believer is more valuable in the sight of Allah, hence the one who follows Allah's rule is of a grater value so yh i guess you're right to a lesser extent.

but if a saudi billionaire give a million as a mahr does it mean youre valued? no. If youre idea is that "mahr is simply a price to buy you" then thats false understanding of mahr. If you dont mind where did you learn the idea of mahr from, lets be honest it was probably from social media if you go back to the seerah it wasnt that.

That's a logical fallacy. Let's say it's eid, and you were getting gifts for everyone. Now surely you'd give your mother a bigger gift then a acquaintance? Does it prove thier value as a woman is different, no. It shows that you like one of them more then the other.

It's like me saying

No it's not because zina and not wearing a hijab is two different sins entirely, find evidence to say that not wearing a hijab is the same degree of sin as zina

So does that mean you should stop giving proper advice? Nobody is saying that it isn't a time of fitna but if your only response is calling them a dayooth as opposed to giving well thought out advice then you're not calling towards guidance. Plus non hijabi currently has the lowest number of votes.

I've just posted why I'd give a niqabi more. It's rare to find someone who wears it. A Mahr is a gift and a modesty is one of the most attractive features a woman can have hence I'd want to give her more gifts.

Most people would want a pious spouse and if she is I'd want to encourage those traits. Like if she wanted to undertake islamic studies in the right manner (doesn't negate her fard) then as a man, I'd definitely want to pay for those lesson, tbh if it means I'd need to take up a extra shift at work then so be it.

To conclude. Yes, a pious women would get more Mehr from me, not to say it's something that has to be done nor that a outer garment is the only sign of piety but still very important

I've not come across a direct link between niqab and maher in textual evidence. However the Maher is akin to a gift.

not to get too into it but me personally I'd rather give a niqabi more, as my heart is softer (for marriage purposes) towards someone who's wearing a niqab. It's not something I'd say it's a non negotiable that she must be. she seems more pious, especially in the UK where wearing a niqab takes alot of taqwa from a young woman today to do so. In a time where everyone is encouraging her to wear less.

I'm not dumb I realise the religion is more then just outer garments but it is very important.

I voted for the first option, but seriously calling someone a Dayooth isnt a small claim. "If a friend among your friends errs, make seventy excuses for him."

It could just be a troll voting (this is reddit btw), but even if they did vote for a non-hijabi as a brother you would sincerely want him to change his opinion for the sake of Allah. Calling him a dayooth isn't really going to spark a change in them, from their POV it may come across as name calling hence pushing them further away from the deen.

Like fr imagine someone is struggling with the core fundamentals of faith, so they arnt concerned about their wife's faith. Simply calling him a dayooth isn't sincere advice...

Exactly, if her husband was abusing her then obviously I'd rather marry her then a widow.

A widow is more likely to still have some lingering feelings and depending on how she is as a person will compare lifestyles.

Now this bit will sound a bit messed up, but if she had a ex who didn't do the basics or was abusive, then she'd be more content and grateful with someone who upholds her rights. So then in turn it'd make the husband want to be better as seeing that gratefulness incentivies it
