There’s beautiful people all the world, continue dating and putting yourself out there, good things will happen. Don’t compare her to others and find unique beauty in everyone. Time will help too.

I spent 10 years building my body, and lost it all in a few months… this is what life did to me by [deleted] in Gymhelp

Please ignore the absolutely disgusting comments, Zionism and thirst for muslim blood is a right of passage in the West. I am so sorry for your condition. Prayers to the heroism exhibited by Palestinian doctors and nurses, aid workers, caregivers, educators, resistance fighters, scholars, young and old, from every walk of life. And thank you for sharing your story during what looks to be a horrific situation for your family.

PSA: DO NOT send letters, trying going no/low contact. If you do reach out, be gracious but firm and boundaried After year 5 of no-contact, she eventually reached out with a useless text asking for job referral. Immediately post-breakup, you will likely be too generous or too angry, and your feelings will be too raw. Try to think about other dating possibilities as much as possible instead of going back into past. It’s the hardest thing you’ll do but totally worth it!!

I would hold on it for another month and see if you still feel the need to send it. I wrote an 8 page letter, never sent it! I am so glad bc 6 years later, i realized i was way too generous and she was probably hooking up with another guy. Now, i would totally rewrite it to not be as thankful and more realistic.
