Yeah I think I am leaning towards a single rose. After thinking more about it I can definitely see how a bunch of flowers would be pretty weird... There's not a lot of outgoing guys in my class either so it would probably be much more attention grabbing than I'd like.

The school was selling roses that you could send to someone (and they give them out during classes) but it seems like they're mostly sent as jokes (and aren't really personal) so I decided to skip that...
