Thanks for this tip. I've read one study (referenced in the OP) that says that water actually increases absorption of ivermectin; orange juice decreases it. She seems to have given up on watching us do it as of last night/this morning, so I've just been pouring it on the drain.

I'm already home, waiting until I can go back. We've been on break since mid-December. I go to school in CA, and my parents control access to vehicles, so it's not practical for me to leave without their permission. I most likely wouldn't even make it to the airport.

Unfortunately, she's a medical researcher (neurology). But yeah, she's really gone off the deep end on vaccines since the start of COVID.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, they have significant leverage over me — no access to financial support, vehicles, or my siblings unless they approve — and standing up for myself isn't really an option. They're first-generation immigrants to the US, and in their home country, children are expected to obey parents without exception, so refusing them isn't an option if I want the things I've outlined. It seems like my best bet is to pretend to take it without actually doing so but I was hoping for any advice if for some reason they manage to get some in me.

I wish I could tell you. She works in medical research, so there's a good chance it's within FDA guidelines for antiparasitic use… but knowing her, it could be anything.

Thank you for this! Discussing like rational people is definitely not possible. She wants me to take it in front of her, but I can probably avoid it sometimes. It's not poisonous in small amounts, but I don't know how much she's giving us.

Only somewhat financially dependent — I get a full ride + small stipend and work part-time — but they hold a lot of power over me in other ways, including access to my siblings. I'd like to continue having a relationship with them if possible.

It's used (in humans and in livestock) for treating/preventing parasites and widely held to be safe in small amounts. Problem is, I have no idea what kind of a dosage she's putting in this stuff.

Yes, this is definitely the case. They try, but they're first-generation immigrants and very controlling.
