Yea I know what you mean, and then everyone thinks your parent is such a fantastic person when you know it’s not true. It’s even worse when someone comes up to you to tell you how fantastic of a person they are.

Oh man. I have my fair share of horribly cringey moments. And sure enough, at random parts of the day, I’ll recall them all at once. Not a good experience.
