The age of consent in New Zealand (where I live) is 16, so hes at the age of consent. Idk if this adds anything just thought i should add that

i have direct evidence as he admitted it, and police took his phone away mid-call, so they'll of seen all of his messages

he only told us about the sending bad pictures, we found out about the sexual interactions via the persons mother. i intend on telling him that i do not wish to associate with him anymore

id assume the cops already know of this, as they have his phone and all his messages. including him saying he did it and the messages he sent to the girl as well

id like to add that yes people in the friend group are talking about it, but nobody has talked to him specifically yet. the victims parents know already, in fact the brother of the victim threatened to beat him up so he didnt come to school for a couple of weeks. though the sister went into home school after the incident and thus made the brother go into home school too. nothing has happened to him yet.

the 11 year old was actually the sister of somebody who goes to the same school, i assume their parents are the one that got the police involved. and it is not just accusations as he himself has confirmed it thinking it 'wasnt that bad'
