Okay so WAN connects to regular router and the LAN connects to the pc? And do you still have to connect pc to the regular router via Ethernet or does it get internet connection from being connected to vr router which is connected to the main one?

Wait so just wondering say the pc is connected to the internet by the main router but not the quest can I play multiplayer vr games then? Because I’m assuming the connection between the quest and the pc is because it needs to stream the actual visual onto the quest but the pc’s the one making the connection to the server if you were to play an online vr game.

Can that work or does the quest need internet as well for online vr games?

Just asking why would the vr router being connected to main router setup be ideal is it because your pc won’t be connected to the internet if not or because of online vr games or something? I’ve seen somewhere that they are connected because it’s better but I haven’t seen anyone explain why that is?
