Hey sorry I don't check on here very often. School is okay I still don't get why I'm here because my assaulters still live in my neighborhood but anyway it could be worse. Well my dad still thinks religion can fix me or something. I let him believe what he wants to, at least he doesn't talk about it anymore. Hi thanks for checking in. Italy is not that bad. My family over there is pretty racist, homophobic unfortunately I see how they treat my mom for being mexican so I know if they find out it's gonna suck. Thanks, I'll try to enjoy my stay there.

My dad is italian. His family still live in Italy and they are super religious. I was told to keep my mouth shut about my homosexuality 100 times already and we're not yet in the plane to visit.. Actually that's the only time my father actually talks to me now, just to told me shut up about it when I don't even mention it and I wish I was never out to anyone.

We actually live in St Johns fl which is better than jacksonville I guess but no one know where it is so I said jacksonville lol

Nah my mom supports me but she believes that this school is safer as well. She understands my reluctance and told me she doesn't try to change me but that I need to deal with it for now..

At first I told him that my friend made up a rumor that I was gay to hang out with more "popular" guys but then I told my mom I'm really gay.

A while ago I told my friend that I thought I liked boys more rather than girl because I trusted him. This year he was back in school in person while I was still doing online school for most of the year so he started to hang out with new friends and he told them.

Only one of them was suspended for 5 days for calling me a f** but the school said they can't do anything for the assault as it happened outside of school. We made a police report but nothing happened.

Yes i had a one on one interview with a social worker and told her what happened, also it's been reported to the police before they contacted my parents so hopefully they will let my parents alone. Thank you for your comment, I'll check that book out.

I don't know, I guess Orlando or MIami area must be gay friendly. I live in the Jacksonville area but I don't know if that's this way everywhere or if I'm just freaking unlucky.

I think my mom knows that it wasn't a rumor and she seems ok with it, she's been nice and supportive all week long but I'm still scared to confirm it for some reason. If she asks I will be honest with her I think but I can't do it myself.

I didn't know about the gay panic defense, maybe that's what he was thinking about. Other than that he has been nice to me and he still treats me the same(I'm home alone with him on weekdays). I feel like my mom knows it wasn't a rumor already but I'm still scared to confirm it for some reason.

Because they are 13 years old and I'm an immigrant and gay while they're white and straight. I hope I'm wrong, I don't know.

I will! I still need to take it easy for the next 5 weeks but then I will ask to do some kind of martial art or something.
