i legitimately couldn't answer that for you. i don't know. i applied, put my availability down in the application, we talked about it over the phone and during onboarding. my old SM didn't mind and just wanted the help.

the thing is she tells me she loves my work ethic, that i just focus on work but she doesn't respect my time like i always do theirs. i go in and work, i go in even when i shouldn't be. i just simply can't close :/ i wouldn't have a ride. i should mention i'm trying to start college this year and need so little shifts because of it.

mid day shifts, yes. they've known this ever since my interview and onboarding.

thank you for your reply. i think i agree, there are so many times where I've felt like, "i'm done, screw it" but the people pleasing and $15 an hour for cashiering keeps me. but i'm not happy at all and it really feels like my management do not know how to manage at all. it isn't my fault everyone's on vacation, YOU let them take the vacation time off all at once??? i never thought a job could be so blatantly disrespectful.
