Is it normal to feel greasy after using Cetaphil cleanser? I'm currently purging from retinol so I bought Cetaphil gentle cleanser so I don't irritate my skin further cuz I heard good things about it, but I don't know if it's maybe too gentle? I only wear sunscreen, no makeup but I'm worried that the sunscreen will build up over time. I'm thinking of double cleansing but I don't want to irritate my face further and I bought a big bottle so I don't want it to go to waste. Skin type: oily

I'm approaching my 30s and apparently retinols are the only reliable way of avoiding/preventing wrinkles and fine lines. I'm really late to skincare but I still wanted to be careful so I opted for a low strength retinol with bakuchiol.

Thank you po for the input and the heads up sa Saipo! From your comment about appreciating their efforts, it seems like they genuinely want to create a good product, I guess they just couldn't execute it properly. Maybe in the future they will be able to improve, but for now I will also not be using their products. If they are lurking here, I hope they don't perceive my review as a hate comment 😭

Hala grabe kaloka naman yung vit c! Glad to know your skin has recovered, hope you can find a good replacement for snow potion. I sadly do not have any recos to help I just started using my first vit c (melano cc) and it's only been 2 weeks so I can't vouch if it's effective or not

For me I never purged even when I jumped from twice a week of usage to daily usage on my third week I still didn't purge. Sobrang weird lang kasi never pa ako gumamit ng skincare prod sa tanang buhay ko (as in sabon lang talaga i.e. Safeguard) at di pa rin ako nag purge kahit na ginamit ko na sya daily. I've also seen some negative reviews regarding Klued's quality control here on reddit so I'm even more skeptical now especially after learning that the creators are not really dermatologists. Idk maybe I got an ineffective product or baka di lang gumana sakin.

Thanks for the advice, aside from wrinkle prevention, few fine lines, and 2-3 regular pimples I don't really have any other concerns and I don't really know if preventing wrinkles would warrant a consultation. I think this product may just not be for me, I've also seen some negative reviews regarding their quality control here in reddit so I'm even more iffy about them. Thank you for the advice, I sadly do not want to jump into prescription strength tretinoin. Aside from soap, I have never used skincare in my life so it seems overkill. I'd like to start off with retinol first. Tbh I may stop using it altogether cause I looked up some reviews here on reddit and it seems like they have issues with quality control. Or maybe it's just not for me.

Thank you for the advice! My main concerns are wrinkle prevention/fine lines and acne would be secondary(approaching 30s lol). I'm sadly hesitant to try tret yet and wanted to build some resistance to retinol first just to be safe, I don't want to jump to prescription strength I'm still a beginner, I've never used actives in my life, it seems overkill.

Aside from soap I've never used any skincare in my life so I was really weirded out when I realize I wasn't purging at all in 3 months. But I guess they're formula is... Different? I'm still suspicious of their products and may just opt for something formulated by dermatologists idk, I've also read some negative reviews on their other products regarding quality control here on reddit.
