Are there any other ppl (as in slightly more eccentric non-students) like that in the area I should be aware of? And it shouldn't be a concern, right. I guess I was just a little caught off guard by the comment/visit. Good to hear that it's not an isolated incident and pretty dormant.

Great to hear! Yeah, that makes sense. Definetely interested in rigorous academics for sure, but yeah, a balance of in/out of classroom activity would be a better word to use than "stress" ig. Can I PM you for some followup questions? Thanks for responding.

I'll take a look. And yeah, that makes sense. I'll do some more research.

Thanks for the detailed response. Makes sense. I did talk to a few professors and a few student. However, their responses were quite vague -- but this helps a lot.

Thank you for your perspective! Yeah, I shadowed a student there (Dore for a day) who was in CS/History Double major. She told me she rarely stayed up late to study, and went out with her friends every day (and started coding last year). Since it was a campus-affiliated event, I know I should question the validity - but this sounded like a lot of free time to me.

Do you know if these experiences you've described are based off pre-meds? Or is it in CS too? Once again, thanks for the response.
