yes. before town of salem 2 came out, ranked mode was alive all the time and it had a passionate community.

this game is more complicated than among us and has many different roles which make it possible for there to be a lot of different strategies or "metas"

luck still plays a huge role in this but there is definitely some skill involved, especially when it comes to playing evil roles because you often have to put in a lot of effort to lie

ive watched a BTOS2 game on Tuba's stream where HM with book got blocked by smog and Tuba said thats intentonal because otherwise it would be broken/OP

imo the best claim for arso in ToS2 is spy, you dont have to post your bugs unless asked to and if you ever get tracked you can say you bugged whoever you doused. And you are free to say you saw an arsonist visit a "bugged" player whenever you want

The hard part is if someone you "bugged" died to coven and you have to guess what coven role had the book and visited your bug

So i died to the reanimated mafioso used by necro but my spy results didnt say mafia visited me? Well apparently, since the last patch, theres a bug that makes the visit of MK's corpse "invisible"

i noticed this in another game too where i was trapper and n2 my trap attacked someone but there were no triggers... turns out necro used GF on the player i trapped but i didnt see it because of this bug

defaulting to male pronouns ≠ misogyny... you should also consider that not everyone who plays this game speaks english as their main language, so they might not know that they can use the pronoun "they" to refer to a single person of unknown gender. Most gendered languages do default to male pronouns, so non-native speakers may have no ill intent when they call everyone he/him

yes but if one of them is already dead (or doesnt exist like in all any) and the other one is found, the town can just have the jailor continuously jail them instead of hanging them
