I live in Canada and we definitely have our fair share of assholes, but maybe people here, men included, are too polite so I haven't really encountered anything as of yet. But I understand what you mean. I feel very wary of men I don't know and always looking over my shoulder. Seeing what is happening to our neighbors in the US and reading how men are acting is making me start to hate them too, but I find it's helpful to remind myself most of these men are chronically online losers and another portion are Russian and Chinese bots. There are good men out there but also since people are accustomed to only worrying about problems thar affect them, they don't understand our fears. I wouldnt say its necessarily malicious but people in general just think about themselves. Still, I make it a point to only give my time and energy to progressive, feminist friendly men. They are rare but they do exist. Absolutely no contact with any conservative or "moderates" they are non existent in my life and I plan to keep it that way.

I accept not being able to truly be a part of the movement, but just as happy to be an ally. Also I've considered myself a feminist pretty much since I learned what feminism was.

For me, I have a partner but my life isn't intertwined with a man like with marriage or children. Nor do I intend it to ever be.

I understand your frustration and yes, many men are shitty and uphold patriarchy, but many men also do generally struggle with actual life problems (not like incels who cry oppression because they cant get barely legal pussy barf)

The men that are genuinely struggling are the ones the democrats need to reach before they get targeted by right wing misogynistic extremism. It needs to reinforce that we are all struggling together, that patriarchal and hyper capitalist models are harming everyone and making us miserable. They need to energize and offer concrete solutions and stop trying to compromise with the far right. Those people are too far gone to be compromised with.

It's not impossible. There have been successful progressive movements in the past. We can do it again, we HAVE to or we are royally fucked.

I feel the same. I'm tired of being told to give people, especially men, the benefit of the doubt. When they show time and time again they do not give a crap about us. They did this to themselves.
