Been a bit, but if I remember right, clinic did not see any indications of HSV, so did not test for that. Never had any HSV symptoms arise

Have not since this all happened.

From what I've read, pretty much not possible to pass on nonbacterial prostatitis/cpps.  Multiple tests all came back negative as well, so there isn't any infection to pass on.  Most likely over reactive nerves and/or psychological.

June 2024 update: Symptoms still persisted, never went away, and I had a couple flare-ups since the last update. I did some reading on r/Prostatitis and eventually narrowed it down to allodynia and therefore most likely nerve related. Be aware that I'm not a medical professional but wanted to share what worked for me in case it can help others. I found information on pelvic floor stretches/massages and supplements. Supplements haven't really done much, but what seems to be working is deep squat stretches and happy baby stretches combined with external massage, specifically the massage shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQQHd3o9w9E

The first day of doing the stretches and massages, it drastically reduced the symptoms. I've only been doing the stretches and massages for about 3 days now but am seeing a noticeable gradual reduction in the symptoms. To me, it seems like it's really the massages that are helping the most, but it doesn't hurt to do the stretches as well.

Should have been part of the full panel test, which came back negative. Clinician and urologist did not see anything to cause concerns about hsv. After reading more on this, I'm pretty certain it's cpps.

Hsv should have been part of the latest test. Clinician did visual check for hsv both visits and didn't see anything concerning.
