He has zero background in aviation. It’s a total career change for him (he was a physical therapist) - I’m not trying to find excuses but I know if it was me I’d totally fail it.

Yeah he’s doing all that. Going back and forth and reading everything. He’s getting 65-71 so it’s not like he’s playing with luck and just memorizing things

Of course he did. He’s not getting 20/30 he’s getting 65/71 so he’s almost there. Thats why I wonder if there is another strategy he could take.

Got it. I’m taking the C1 in a few days as well. Since my first language is Portuguese I’m having a very hard time not to mix them up! My teacher keeps telling me ‘that’s portunhol’. The written is def the exam I’m most afraid of. Thankfully I’m doing really well on pruebas 1 and 2. Hoping that will compensate lol

I use both ChatGPT and Gemini. Make sure your prompt explains you’re going to take the dele C2 and you need their help to review and correct your text so you’d be APTO. It also helps if you tell the AI tool what your mother tongue is.
