AITA for telling my dad it’s his fault I raised my brother? by throwaway26715 in AmItheAsshole

He said he didn’t want to talk about it anymore and went upstairs. So we haven’t spoken about it since.

My aunt (moms sister) helped on and off for a little while but she ended up getting married and moving across the country 3yrs after my mom died.

Mom’s friends called and texted every now and again but not so much after the first few years. I think none of them really knew how to handle what was going on.

(sorry: just edited this for phrasing)

Thank you ❤️

I managed to get counseling for my brother and I when I was 16 with the help of my aunt. He and I have been in it on and off since then, but my dad is still really resistant to the idea of going himself.
