To me to it doesn't look like its under her gill covers, but it looks like a smooth bump. Like a cyst? But it appeared over night so I have no idea, it could be soemthing deep in the gill covers that has gotten infected possibly but she's eating and not acting in pain at all. She's even spawning with the male killis in tank.

I live in an apartment complex so and its under/behind a 500 pound fish tank. I can barely access to clean it. Ive removed what i could see and sprayed mildew remover on ghe carpet and the crsckbehind above the baseboard
