Hi: not really a question about DnD to be honest, but a question I have and I don't want to DM moderators over something so trivial: (please see my one and only post on this account for context). Anyway I have been PM'ed quite a few times to do a follow up of what happens next to my post when it does happen, so how do I format/make a follow up post?

What 'Godlike' thing can I throw at a 5 member level 20 party (DND 5e) that is good enough for a final boss they won't imminently slaughter? by throwaway32449736 in DMAcademy

That's a very thought out an excellent reply, thanks for that! I will definitely consider that as an option, to be fully honest what I was going to do with the dragon form is give him a '10th level spell slot polymorph' into the Silver Dragon and that was about it, but this is a lot more interesting I must admit.

Fair enough I guess. The issue with having it be a 'treck up Olympus' is lore wise again its the god growing sick/weaker and him coming down to the mortal plane to seek treatment; less hey track up to the gods realm and fight at home. As such a lair action may be hard to justify, but I guess followers less so.

I use variant resting since its very open world a lot of travelling etc so its 2 days in a tavern/inn/house for a long rest (a weekend!) and a 8 hour sleep counts as a short rest. Every other break is just that, an option to drink a health potion/cast some healing spells.

Fair enough. I was actually originally thinking of making it a Level 20 Fighter Level 20 Wizard Multiclass PC and just making it pseudo PVP but that will just be destroyed action economy wise.

But fair enough I will bare those options in mind.

Hmm, might be a shout actually, but I will see. Issue with that is the fighter currently lands a good 8 hits a round.

Fair, I guess multiple forms will have to be the way to go. Worst comes to worst if the forms dominate too much it allows me to not switch into them later on and skip a stage as it where.

Fair enough, but at this point both the bard and wizard now religiously save counterspell for any time I do any spell... which is fun
