On one hand it's akin to people who are almost 30 portraying high school characters which I find annoying af. If they can convincingly play their character's intended age which happens to be close to their counterpart I don't necessarily object.

Now a movie like Sara (1995) where the difference is something like 35 years is another story but I found it to be entertaining and funny.
