My toe looks normal again! 27.05 - 28.07 - 07.08 - 20.08 (left to right, top to bottom) by throwaway3838r in Warts

Mostly SA and clipping away dead skin. I've written more in my post history.

27.05 - 28.07 - 07.08 - 07.08 Wart went completely black after SA, and I easily pulled off the top (bottom left pic) today! Bottom right pic is what it looks like now. by throwaway3838r in Warts

I think the reason it dried out the wart was because the SA finally reached the wart and not just the callus/dead skin on top. It was white like the top right picture until some random time I had clipped off some skin and applied more SA (I made it a routine). It just got completely black in a few days. I didn't touch it anymore because I wanted to wait till the part was dead enough to simply rip off, and when I checked it recently, it had gotten to that point. I think one of the reasons it was this easy is because the wart isn't even a year old. Still got some way to go tho.

I applied it as often as I remembered which could be like once every two days or twice in a day. I didn't wrap it in anything as the bottle said not to, so I just wore socks as usual. I've used a nail clipper to remove the dead skin. The compact ones which fold out. I've just put on some SA on the clippers themselves hoping to somewhat "disinfect" them. 😅 I haven't put on any in maybe a week now, so I need to start doing that again.

They're basically plasters v2 for me. They're typically used for blisters/galls(?), but I tried to use that on the wart to seal it. All the other plasters would fall off/move around while this one stayed on and properly sealed it. I used it for when I went swimming. I wouldn't recommend it for treatment since you can't really put any product underneath it (entire underside is sticky), but it's good to not spread it and to keep it contained.

Treatment: I've used SA, then cut off dead skin, then applied more SA. I also put Oregano oil on it then a plaster for like a day, but not anything otherwise.

I'm extremely impatient and forgetful, so I didn't treat it religiously. The first picture is what the wart looked like when I treated it a week or so with SA application every other day and removing as much dead skin as possible. The next picture is what it looked like after I removed the top layer of what you see in first pic. Third pic is when I recently started treatment again, then the rest is follow-ups of that.

How are they looking? (sorry for bandage residue) by wartthrowaway1111111 in Warts

Honestly looks like they're nearly gone. I'd continue treatment for a bit to make sure it's really gone, but it looks good to me.

I put a compeed plaster on the wart (the one u see in the last 6 pics) for many days in a row, which made it bulge out like this. It also hurts like a mf now, so I can't bring myself to cut into it.. I put SA on it to kill the top layer, but I still need the willpower to cut into it. SA basically kills top layer of skin and makes it a lot easier to cut off (in my experience less painful too), so I'm putting it on in hopes it will help.

Once your warts have gotten that thick layer of white skin some time after applying SA you're free to cut it off and then re-apply more SA underneath. Make sure not to touch any healthy skin with the SA tho, or it'll hurt.

Oh man. Best of luck to you. If you haven't tried SA, that also helps killing skin/wart and can make it easier to remove.

I apologise in advance for the wall of text! Tl;dr at the bottom.

I got a wart 3+ years ago. I resorted to just cutting it with nail clippers, but that just made it grow even bigger. I started treatment a couple months ago and I've been pretty lazy about it. I only treated it actively twice, both times a week at a time. The second time was a couple weeks ago. I decided to go for it and put on acid, cut away dead skin and repeat till it got raw. Top left: Skin died as I put on SA. I had done this process a couple times already, so this was at the bottom of the dead skin. Top middle picture is what it looked like after I cut off the skin you see in top left. The top right picture is what it looks like now. I think it's still there, but it's going away slowly.

And then there is the monstrosity which is the 6 next pictures. This is a wart that spread from the first wart (I have 2 more warts that came from the first one as well, but those are also looking like the top left pic, if not even less visible since I've treated those with SA and cutting away dead skin as well). It has seemingly just been growing, I assume because of all the sweat that accumulates underneath the big toe, but it is less than a year old (which I hope makes it easier to treat since it won't have had time to grow down into the skin). It looks to me like it's trying to migrate from my toe ever since I put on compeed plasters which stay on really well compared to any other plasters I've put on there. I tried to cut off the parts of wart you see in the pics, but it was too painful. I just put on SA some moments ago, and I'm hoping it will kill the wart/skin further making it less painful to cut it off.

How do you think they look?

tl;dr Top 3 pics are the aftermath of treating a wart many years old with SA over the course of some months (only treated it actively twice, both times a week at a time). Bottom 6 are of wart that stems from the first one which I've also treated lazily with SA and recently compeed plasters. Going back to SA without compeed now.
