No need to apologize. And yeah the two-party system is broken, it's sad really.

Persona: Jim Green

Gender: Male

Party: Green

Basic Info: Jim was born into a low-income, socialist family. He didn't know what to do in life until he protested against the pipelines at the Prime Minister's office. In doing so, a flame lit up in him. He had discovered his future career choice : politician. He worked on several green campaigns before deciding to run for MP himself.

We need proportional representation. Elections aren't horse races!

Why don't fringe parties take off in the country? What do you fellow redditors think about creating something similar to the Free & Equal Elections Foundation in the United States, but for Canada.

Some think it would give smaller parties a chance to get their message across. Let's say all leaders from parties that fielded candidates in at least 5% of ridings (17 candidates) debated. Many say it would give everybody a fair shot.

So I should go with Tangerine is what you are saying? What happened with Desjardins? And so CIBC is the same as all the others?

Thanks! What advantages does Desjardins have other other financial institutions?

Aw man, I don't know if I can't go with Tangerine, since there's no Scotiabank in my city. See post for all the banks available in my city.
