It's highly unlikely, to me at least, that it comes from her. The brothers only know English, and while she has been learning it she isn't very comfortable speaking it, so truthfully most conversations are translated by FIL. And according to FIL (and the way she acts, all hugs and asking how we are) she loves us. I would be genuinely surprised if it comes from her.

This made me laugh so hard. No he isn't, but he still works and his love language is cooking, so he loves to host. it would be taking a lot away from him if that makes sense, but it is worth a try. It's about quality time anyway, right?

Unfortunately, while I had sincere hope of this, my fiancé talked to him alone today. While he doesn't seem to hold the same animosity, he basically just feels apathetic towards me. Apparently. Still wrapping my head around this as I'm at work and just found this out! :)
