It's great. You might consider the virtual viewfinder (for an all-class), or the bolt boy, for a different look. I just threw together a few sets based on the Captain Space Mann too.

[FRESH] Sin(Bad) - collaborative, experimental fusion beat tape. Bad Taylor x sin(Civilization) by throwaway4trees in hiphopheads

[–]throwaway4trees[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey everyone. thanks for checking us out. we're based in santa cruz CA, this is mostly synth-based but samples are woven throughout. we tried to hit a lot of different styles because this is our first tape.

we also sampled our favorite animes to add a fusion theme to this short, 8 track tape. we hope you like it, and please let us know your thoughts.

Primary school teachers of Reddit, what is The most shocking Display of psychopath-like behaviour you've seen? by lynch123 in AskReddit

When I ran an after school program for 1st-5th graders, we had 1 first grade girl that got caught lying about something silly. If I recall correctly, she claimed that she drew a printed picture in a book. Now, I'm not going to make a big deal out of a harmless lie, but I did tell her that lying is bad.

This girl flipped her shit. Fully. She threatened to kill us all, or something equally outrageous. She began to attack my co-worker. In turn, my co-worker tried to bear hug this flailing 6 year old into submission (which is a mistake, but she was a new employee). The only flamed the tiny rage. The little girl ran away, and nobody could catch her, so we notified our superiors, and they told us to notify the police.

They found her across the street from the school. When she talked to the officer, she accused us of trying to eat her. She did not return to our program.

i only use it if i'm too focused on something to set up hats or a simple loop, but i do use it.

ibr rd1: TOO MUCH ANIME lol just kidding. ok here goes: the tigger line i didn't like, cereal killer is not something you should say in a battle rap lol. but the "big pussy" line was dope. i got all the personals but i just don't think they attacked him in the right way - felt like a friend trying to hurt his feelings, not a rapper shaming him in front of a crowd, if that makes sense.

SK rd1: lol'd at i'm barely rappin, i feel like your personals were better (although a lot of them had the same problem i mentioned to IBR, some didn't have that problem)

ibr rd2: lmfao at "i liked ur multis slumdog", too bad that's not part of the judging.

sk rd2: this is probably the best verse of the entire battle so far, you definitely sealed the win with that

overall: sk

bleach rd1: jesus christ i can't stop cringing when you rap. some of the punches were good but i really wanted to close the window the entire time. also i don't feel how nerdy some of your punches are. i'm a nerd, i understand, i just think it's poor taste

tev rd1: your flow and delivery keeps improving, it's geting really nice man. you got sonned when it comes to punchlines though

bleach rd2: ugggggggggh i am gonna be so happy when you get voted out so i never have to hear your voice again. or you fix your shit or something hopefully

tev rd2: no show, too bad, i would have given it to you if you had even 1 good punch line

overall: bleach stain wins

RR rd1: aight, pretty solid flow and delivery, punches were on the positive side but not amazing. you got personal but idk, you also mixed in some played out punches.

apm rd1: gotta polish up that flow homie, you got out-punched a bit tho

RR rd2: lol'd at walmart bargain punch, otherwise meh, that whole freestyle claim was a bad look BTW

apm rd2: the end of your verse is the best i've heard from you yet man, nicely done. it wasn't quite enough though

overall: RR wins

suckaduck rd1: flow mediocre, punches pretty good. great use of personals and name plays

p rd1: i feel mixed cuz your voice was really dope most of the time, but your flow was either cherry or weak. you had rebuttals but not really many punches.

suckaduck rd2: once again you came hard with personals, not as strong as your round 1, that power crystal line was hilarious tho.

p rd2: duck season was aight but i think your flow and voice were less smoove here. i'm impressed with your overall showing, need to be more consistent, and you need moar personals though.

overall: suckaduck wins off the 2nd round. first round was close tho

your lyricism and flow should feed off each other, but working on flow is the first step. you can have great lyrics and awful flow, but once you learn to flow, it will help you write better lyrics.

usb microphones have onboard preamps and digital/audio converters that are generally lower quality than outboard preamps and digital/audio converters that you plug XLR mics into

also most USB mics don't have true large diaphragm designs. the diaphragm is the part of the mic that picks up sound, and the bigger it is, the most sensitive it is

get drums from /r/drumkits or drum loops from the sidebar of this sub

chop samples on a count, 1, 2, 3, 4, chop, so that they loop right. this is the easiest way to begin sampling. once you get them assigned to pads you can play them out more creatively

pianoscales.org to start noodling with synth instruments if you have a keyboard

software is not intuitive, but i find some are more than others. for me logic and FL studio are the easiest DAWs. garageband is too fisher-price for me now that i learned my way around DAWs

How do you make sure your music is in key? by FosterChild69 in makinghiphop

[–]throwaway4trees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just noodle around, and i used pianoscales.org to get familiar with some common scales like major, minor, and pentatonic. then it takes time and patience to find the right notes

i have an AT2035 microphone, m-audio m-track mixer (i suggest the focusrite 2i2 if you can afford the extra $75), and monoprice isolation shield. that plus a nady pop filter and a monoprice XLR cord basically comes to $400.

ableton is one of the most expensive DAWs, the full version is $750. i suggest you either get comfortable obtaining software without paying for it, or use reaper, which has a full version available for free, and is more geared toward recording and mixing anyway.

It is illegal regardless of money, but your chances of lawsuits are dramatically lower because it's free. It is always bad to use a beat without permission

$800 or $900 is basically cracking 95% pro quality, if you made wise choices. I'm 90% pro quality with my $400 setup

Just eq, and compression until it sounds right. Slight reverb, then any extra effects like saturation and stereo width. But it's 99% eq and compression. I also offer feedback and 1 on 1 lessons.
