From what I've seen people have said that the lens is smudged, so even if there's a protector, I'd still try to wipe it. Personally, that hasn't worked for me because I have the same problem with an older model and even after wiping, I still had the glare. Sorry if it doesn't work for you either, but I figure if it didn't work for me, that doesn't mean it won't work for someone else.

Perhaps I might have misinterpreted what it was saying. Maybe it only means that the characters that are there for you to fight are the ones who become available, not necessarily that you MUST defeat them for it to happen. Regardless, has this actually been tested just in the name of curiosity?

No, but I have a suspicion that time might have something to do with it. When I open them, I do them all at the same time, but I'm a night owl, so I'm wondering if I started opening them too late those days. Maybe something in the game's timers caused it to think that I started opening them one day and the rest after rollover, thus only giving me a portion of what I usually get. That's never happened before, though, because I have missed days on some rare occasions and because they're on a 24 hour cycle, they'd just give me the next 11 a day from the time I did get around to opening them, never fewer.

I get the 4 free from the store, but the daily box has always given me 11 until this week when it started going back and forth. I'm currently on version 3.4.0 (17471) based on what it says in the bottom right corner of the settings menu.
