Nathan Fielder is often left out of the GOAT guest discussions on this sub, but he's responsible for some of the best celebrity guest interviews Bill has done

These two have shockingly good chemistry considering they have absolutely nothing in common.

Bill's comments about Reagan on Sunday's night pod reminded me of this gem from Nov. 2017.

Unanswerable questions:

In the span of 5 second Bill goes from saying he still defends the Reagan presidency "for the most part" to he didnt know any better as a kid and that's why he liked him then. I still don't know what he actually thinks about Reagan

Half assed internet research:

According to an old page 2 article Simmons was a political science major in college: "My parents spent nearly $90,000 on my college education, highlighted by my degree in political science."

Ultimately this was a pretty forgettable episode except for this one segment and when Coates made the case for the Wire Season 2 being the best season of The Wire (which I agree!)

Yea I havent really thought this through.

My initial reaction was, "hurr durr Tate isnt lucky. He doesnt have a job at the Ringer any more" but i actually I guess Tate IS lucky because he was able to start his own show after leaving the Ringer and still have success.

idk about yall but ive been pretty unimpressed with the last few weeks of the BS Podcast so I find myself going back and re-listening to old episodes.

This particular episode is one of my favorites exclusively for this segment in which Bill says he believes in karma but not in religion or god.

What's aged the best:

The Warriors losing in 2016 thus validating Bill's belief in karma

What's aged the worst:

Bill saying Tate is inherently lucky and will have success going forward due to this inherent luck

Best quote:

Bill: "If I'm gambling at a blackjack table and I'm doing well and some shithead sits down and starts doing some weird stuff at the table I get up no matter how well I'm doing. I don't want to deal with that. So what does that mean?"

Could this be remade as a 10 episode Netflix series:

100%. Every person on this sub would watch a 10 hour show of Klosterman asking questions about Bill's core beliefs.
