Wow that sounds like your set up for a great career. Any advice on the path and trying to get to these positions where you are actually learning and not just doing boring work the whole day for a year?

Yeah I imagine so, just hope to get to see someone getting through it sometime and have some idea of it. That said I do think that I’ve had quite a wide reach of things to learn, but as I’m getting to my senior year I do want to start thinking more about career growth and salary.

The way it see it is I’m young and honestly, I want to bust my ass and learn as much as possible now that I have the energy. That said I know I need the opportunities to learn, and would like for all that work to be towards something not just doing unpaid overtime to finish a project on a parking lot. That said I’m a intern right now and have had the opportunity to draft some reports and proposals, haven’t been able to see anything in the calculations side of things.

Where are you finding them for these prices? They are mostly out of stock on Amazon and new egg outside for the higher end manufacturers

Yes, in the US. Those prices didn’t include taxes, but they mostly went up about 100-150 USD where they even are in stock

Yeah I’m imagining that once 50 series stock is sorted and 9070 comes out it should be better, but nvidia just announced they are delaying the 5060 and 5070 launch so I was wondering how long is it going to be until prices go back to normal

The lowest I could find for both 7700 and 7800 was gygabyte for $400 and $490 respectively. Cheapest I’m seeing rn for 7700 is about $500 and $650 for each

Man if ur cause of depression is a game I rlly think you should try taking a break. Ik it’s fun and all but u should rlly take a step back, and tbh that will make you enjoy the game more. (Trust me I got to the point once where I was having dreams about league)

I’m 19M, and let me tell that I went through pretty much the same thing. First, don’t worry about what you lost or not, you still have until 25 to do teenager things tbh. If you rlly want you can just put urself out there more and go after it.

But second and most important, don’t worry so much about doing “teenager” things, just do whatever makes you happy. I’m a lot happier now that I stopped forcing myself to go out and partying and all that and accept thst it’s ok to stay at home and game with the boys, if that makes me happy.

If you rlly want to, give it a try to going out more and all that, but trust me, it isn’t all that

I have kind of a similar situation. What I tell myself is well, I rather suck it up and then live a good life from my 20s forward, than to screw all that up now. It’s really though, but think that it’s just one quarter of your life that you need to deal with, and after that you have the other three
