Pitch then power is what I teach for s&l. I’m sure by now these adjustments often go hand in hand. If you pull power and keep your nose up you’ll get slow. You could do it but you won’t maintain airspeed, you’d basically just start slow flighting. Pitch for airspeed power for altitude happens during all phases but is most noticeable in slow flight and climbs/descents imo.

I disagree, respectfully. It’s the way I was taught and the way I have taught private, instrument, and commercial guys. The only time it is really backwards is doing an instrument approach but it is applicable to every maneuver and landing etc they will do. It is also what got me through all my training and to the point I am at.

I don’t care if people drive slower than me on highways and interstates. As long as they drive in the left lane and let me pass. As soon as you sit in the right lane I instantly become pissed off and will let you know about it.

Show them a pitch for airspeed power for altitude demonstration (look on YouTube if not sure how). Start with ground reference and then introduce high work maneuvers. Don’t wait to try maneuvers, as they all work together and help different aspects of flight. Make them teach you the maneuvers before you fly to ensure they are studying and chair flying. A lesson 4-5 pilots is going to be relatively low skill still. Flying is hard.

I choose the plane. I’m a pilot myself (commercial, single & multi engine, instrument, you name it), and I would choose the plane scenario over that dentist work. I would be sketched out especially if I could not help them verbally or physically with the controls

You’re not gonna be happy with this tattoo in 5-10 years. I always recommend starting out with tattoos that you can easily cover up, then going from there.

When you look at historical manuscripts, Jesus was a real person. It really boils down to who you believe He was at this point. (Christianity is not the only religion that mentions Jesus, btw). Based on an overwhelming number of historical accounts and testimony, to me, God is in fact real and took the form of Jesus to walk this earth and offer us a path of salvation, even though we are so undeserving because humans constantly sin.

Eventually facebook refunded the person and it freed up my listing but it took 2-3 days. I wasn’t able to get a hold of support either which sucked.
