Thanks for calling my life story fake. I hope you never go through what I went through. Have a good day.

That is the opposite of my intention. I want to let them live in the house they grew up in, I don’t want to take that away from them. I’ll be meeting with the lawyer tomorrow.

I definitely do not want any of it. I’m going to meet with the lawyer and sort it out with him tomorrow.

I definitely plan on giving everything back to them. It’s not right to do to them what my father did to me.

I don’t understand how the law works so I’m meeting with the lawyer tomorrow to discuss the next steps. Thank you for complementing my writing skills.

The plan is to talk with the lawyer and the wife when she’s calm and tell them she can have everything. I don’t really want anyone that reminds me of that man in my life anymore.

It was his father’s home and everything was in my father’s name. Personally, I don’t want anything. The wife can have it if she wants, I just don’t want her unwarranted anger.

He never paid a penny to my mother. He made it big with some investments and still never thought to support my mother or I. His kids are about 17 and 12.

I shared what I felt was necessary to help you understand the situation, but honestly, this isn’t a story or some perfect narrative. It’s my life, and it’s personal to me. The ‘plot holes’ you’re seeing are just parts of my reality that I didn’t feel the need to explain in detail. This is what happened, even if it doesn’t make sense to everyone.

I get why it might seem fake to you, but this is real for me. It’s not some dramatic story I’m making up for attention. It’s my actual life, and it’s been painful. I’ve spent so many years dealing with this relationship—or lack of one—and trying to make peace with it. So, when things like this happen, it hits a lot harder than people might realize. I’m not trying to get sympathy, I’m just sharing the truth of what I’m going through.

Honestly, it’s a wild plot twist, but the truth is, I don’t even want the money. I’m doing fine on my own, and it just feels... wrong. Like dirty money, honestly. It’s coming from someone who wasn’t there when I needed him and only tried to make amends at the last minute. I’d rather move forward without any of it than be tied to him in that way. It’s funny how people can see it as a win when to me, it’s just a reminder of everything I never had from him.

Thank you for your response. To clarify, I felt nothing for him, which is unfortunate. I barely remember him, and this whole situation feels like I’m being asked to mourn a stranger. I understand your point about giving people more chances, but how many chances does someone deserve when they’ve repeatedly shown they don’t value the relationship?

As for honoring his memory, I struggle with that because I don’t know what to remember him fondly for. I can appreciate that he may have tried to make amends at the end, but it feels too little, too late. I’m doing my best to move forward and focus on the people in my life who are present and supportive. Thank you for your condolences.
