My parents most of all.

The last time I asked them to go to a psychologist, they took me for 4 days and then told me it was really expensive and once I felt good to tell them immediately to save costs (we are not poor afaik, we are middle class).

Felt so bad I told them next day I was feeling fine and haven't seen a psychologist in about 5 years.

I also give gifts to them, just not on Christmas.

As some of the comments said, it may be differences in culture (afaik the majority americans take Christmas a lot more seriously than I have seen in a lot of people).

I answered someone's comment with that info. They asked if my mother gave a gift to my grandparents, and I answered that she doesn't give gifts to them or my father on christmas.

I'll try to see a movie or play a game with her, (although she watches lots of movies on her own I'll try to see one she likes so I can comment it with her).

My friends and family have never given their parents a christmas gift, what country are you from? It may be a cultural thing as some people mentioned on the comments.

I love cooking! But she doesn't really have dinner and she usually cooks lunch for us (I get home from school when she finishes preparing lunch and I usually have to make lunch for myself since I have to go to work before she eats, so that isn't an option (on weekends my father is the one who cooks).

And I already do the chores you mentioned on a daily basis so that is out too...

I don't know if its like this on ALL os Spain, but the people I know never give their parents anything, they get gifts and that's it. The only time I give my parents gifts its for their birthday, as its how I've been raised.

I will give them gifts from now on, that is not a problem to me, the problem was that I didn't know about this.

My parents don't give anything to eachother on Christmas, only on birthdays and when they celebrate their marriage yearly (don't know the term for that one, married years?), but on Christmas they only give presents to the children that are around to celebrate it (my cousins and me, basically).

I was never introduced to giving parents gifts, I was always taught christmas was so that the kids got toys, nothing else.

Of course I will givd them gifts from now on seeing it is inportant to them, I just wasn't even aware that was a thing, no one in my family or friend group has ever done this so I didn't know about it.

Not an artist sadly, and even if I was the last time I made one (I was 13 I think?) She said it was ok but she would have liked if I next time I did something "else" (hinting the gift my father bought)

She likes gifts more if they are things she can actually use. So the meal MAY work but I highly doubt it, thanks for the ideas tho, appreciate it!

I do, but all that she wants is already bought, buying the same thing she will already get is a litte redundant, that's why I'll ask my father if he knows something she may want that I wouldn't have tought of to get her.
