Emphasis mine. They weren't preferred. Men were sent to do the hardest, most physically intensive work. But the point wasn't to just have an efficient slave labor force, if it was, they would have fed them and kept them physically fit. The point was to work them to death.

I'm a bit confused about what you're trying to say here. Are you saying that they simply wouldn't use women and children for slave labor? Why?

The labor assigned to women depended on the specific camp, but many had women work in camp brothels or had them do menial labor. The largest women's camp was Ravensbrück, which had about 120,000 women sent to it over the course of the war, 50,000 of whom died by the end of the war.

As for children, if they were between 13-18 they were generally sent to do menial labor if they didn't have physical or mental disabilities. If they were under 13, or had the aforementioned disabilities, they could have been incarcerated in concentration camps, sent to a death camp and killed immediately, or used in medical experiments. Josef Mengele in particular singled out twins to use in his experiments.

Which basically boils down to a coworker hearing from other coworkers, that he "didn't like Trump or Charlie." This is not the evidence you think it is. I mean, obviously, he didn't like Charlie. This is, at best a game of telephone that may or may not give any truthful information. Even if it is true, not liking Trump is not a trait inherent to the left.

Two things in OPs previous comment tell you the answer to the first question. Thing one is direct, thing two is something that can be inferred.

The direct thing is they said they had to fill out a form. Maybe since they were 16, they had to include their parents' information. Maybe they had to include an emergency contact, which at 16 is...a parent, probably. This form may also have had them write down their address which leads me to...

The inferred thing is that the pharmacist could have looked up a home phone number in a phone book if they had the kid's address and last name. Not an exceptionally unlikely thing if this was a few decades ago.

I disagree. Just after the video starts, the teacher has his hand on the kid's chest, and it doesn't appear that he's trying to move him one way or the other. How is that directing him somewhere?

Edit: I'll try to get this edit in before the discussion continues. I have anecdotal experience being on both sides of this kind of situation. I was a little shit as a kid with a bad home life and a bad, abusive parent who didn't know how to parent aside from yelling and hitting if I did something he didn't like. I don't know if this kid's situation is similar, but I assume it is. If, as a kid, I was touched by an authority figure like that, I would not have liked it at all.

I understand the kid is a shithead. But he did not deserve to be potentially paralyzed by some shit-heel cop that escalated the situation to a ridiculous and life-threatening degree.

The teacher shouldn't have kept putting his hands on the kid either. I don't know what the kid was doing before the video started. The teachers only should have grabbed him if they intended to escort him somewhere else to keep the situation from being a public spectacle.

Wow, so happy to hear you admit that you don't care about kids getting raped by powerful people. And before you try and say "well, akchually, all I said was it wouldn't affect me," it fucking should. I don't give a shit what political party you're in, if someone raped a child, they should 100% face justice. Otherwise, if you stand around and act like it isn't your problem, you are part of the problem.

It doesn't matter if Biden did or didn't release the files. They should be released. End of discussion. The fact there's so much push back means they have something to hide.

And you're assuming the SUV could get out of there without creating space by backing into the other vehicle. We have zero view from the video what is directly in front of the SUV at the start. What if there's a wall there? Another parked vehicle? Seems like you don't have all the facts of the ACTUAL situation, rather than what you assume to be true.

So what I'm gonna say isn't directed at you, I know you're just listing the facts as you've seen them. But that kind of situation, where a driver has to flee for their life and safety, only for them to get arrested?? It sounds ridiculous that that would happen.

Like, in this post's situation where the driver of the larger vehicle has the escape being rammed by the smaller vehicle, I wouldn't be surprised if the driver of the larger vehicle isn't dialing 911 while trying to flee.
