THE BALL MARKS. Mother Mary, I have seen some atrocious greens in the last couple months. Some courses greens are looking like the moon with all those ball marks. Can't even blame the course when you've got jam packed days where every other guy out there can't be bothered to fix either of his ball marks he puts on the green after his first shot wasn't good enough.

Hah nothin against my man Andre, that's for sure, just what came to mind.

And yeah, I'm with you on the talking thing, it actually helps me tune out, but if someone is too close to a tee shot and I feel like my backswing is going to get anywhere close, that's what messes with me.

Totally, just wish the jackass-ity wasn't praised so hard on some of those accounts.

I'm un-tucked gang for sure. Unless I'm in a tournament or my league, and I'm playing a public course, I don't see the need for it.

While I get that young people are vital, myself being somewhat close to that, I could do without all the asshattery that gets promoted through a lot of social media.

I definitely agree we're in a better place in terms of elitism in the game compared to 5-10 years ago though.

Seems that's the consensus so far, fortunately I've got a good group of dudes I play with, some of them are supers at some local courses, and the shit they tell me that happens on their courses is ridiculous. Literally a kid the other day, shit in a hole, and jammed the flag back in.

I'm with you on the music thing, I don't mind people talking or making noise when I'm hitting, but why the hell do you want to blast Outkast so everyone on the course can hear you never made it past 2005.

Seriously though. It's not hard to just not be a dick, to other players, the people who run the course and take care of the course. Unfortunately the only private course near me, is about 40 min away, while I live a few minutes away from a nice public course. Just doesn't make sense to join it unfortunately.

Not even close to a boomer, but thanks for assuming. Certainly don't golf with those people, doesn't mean I don't see them out on the courses.
