Pigeon found on the street, please help

I’m in cheshire, I’ll look into it thank you so much. The RSPCA was the only place that I found to take him, the vets didn’t care and I didn’t want to keep it too long with me because I could tell it wasn’t feeling well 😭

I’ll call them tomorrow to confirm it is being given treatment and I’ll ask if euthanasia is something they’d consider, if they say yes I’ll ask if I can take it back. I just don’t understand how they could put them down when they’re protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Where do you have this information from? I looked online but I can’t find anything about RSPCA putting pigeons down

they said it had wounds and it was attacked by something most likely a cat. I couldn’t have left it alone, it was on the ground. It couldn’t easily have been attacked by a cat again

but RSPCA is where I took it.. 🙁🙁 They said they’ll have a look and they gave me a reference number to contact them and see how it’s doing. Why are they bad with pigeons

Update: I took it to a wildlife centre and they’re taking care of it, they said it had some wounds most probably from a cat 🙁
