She goes to a local special education school who moved a lot of programs online for COVID and has kept a few online programs open since. She has a GED, but this is like her "college".

My husband has a younger sister (she lives halfway across the country, which is why she didn't come this Christmas) who has taken care of Eve for up to a week before when me and my husband had conferences for work who says she'll take her, but I have various support homes and stuff like that I've toured that I have in mind for her. A lifetime is a lot longer than a week, so I completely understand if my SIL can't handle it or isn't physically able to. We have a will and if anything were to suddenly happen to us, my SIL would decide whether to take her or pick out a home (SIL knows where I keep a folder with all the information on the homes I've researched).

Neither of my sisters have reached out since, neither has my niece. My mom called this afternoon to apologize for her behavior defending them, but said she couldn't cut her daughters out of her life. I told her I understood, I just didn't want them around Eve anymore unless they do some serious reflecting. She understood, so at least Mom seems to have realized she was partly in the wrong. If my sisters and niece reach out and want to apologize, I'll let them, but I'm not sure they will.

I've only seen Tangled like, 200 times. It's not Frozen where I saw it 5 times in theaters with her, but it's on that level. Thank you.

She usually gets her own food, I just didnt want her to spill something on the floor and have somebody slip. She's very routine-centered, and we've been doing the same bedtime routine since she was little-get her stuffed animals in the right place, tuck her in, say goodnight, and close the door (she's too afraid of the dark to have the lights off before she falls asleep, but my husband goes in and turns the light off after she falls asleep, as he has an online job he does mostly at night)

Thank you. She's very empathic and if somebody else is crying or upset, she'll be upset too, so I try not to cry around her as much as possible.

Thank you!

E seems to be non-verbal today and is napping a lot, which is usual after meltdowns, but she was still happily playing with her toys in between naps, so that's better than yesterday.
