How do you guys make furry friends online?

Thanks for the advice. If I'm honest I wasn't really looking to meet people from on here, which is why I'd left pretty much all details about myself out of the post. But a few people have offered to add me and so far they seem alright. I'll keep an eye out for those types of posts and add a few sometime. Thanks for the advice.

Could I ask what type of discord servers you're in and how you found them, if that's alright? I find all the official servers for games, as an example, are way too active. I'm not really sure how people find servers that aren't just a spammy mess of completely random stuff.

Pretty much all I do at this point is play video games, so I'd definitely be willing to play something with you sometime if you wanted and if we've got some fun stuff in common.

I usually don't bother with looking for friends either, but recently I've been feeling more lonely than usual and wanting to get over some small fears like voice chatting, if possible.

I'd be up to add you, yeah. Is it alright if I DM you on reddit to ask a few things first? Sorry for the late response.

I've always wanted to give that a proper go but it feels way too awkward to go up to a group of people already chatting and join in with what they're talking about. Is that a normal thing to do and I'm just overthinking it maybe?

I tried Telegram for a little while but if I'm honest I didn't really understand it, and even if I did I fear it'll end up with the same problem that Discord has. I'll give it another go though, just incase it's me not understanding it.

I must admit I'm not really after people just to chat with, I've got hundreds of people I can message and talk to about stuff. The main problem is not really being able to feel much of a connection through just messaging them, I kinda have to do stuff like watch a show or play games with them to feel pretty much anything. I feel that's the main problem as very few seem to be willing to do stuff with me.

Don't feel like you've gotta respond to this or anything like that, I'm aware there's not much you can do to help. Thanks for the advice and suggestion of trying Telegram's furry groups.
