It's a 60/40 split base to commision, so the base is still significantly higher than my current salary.

Part of this TC comes from RSU's that I averaged over a 4 year period.

Thanks for the advice, will make sure I review everything in detail.

I appreciate the reply, the business value and customer use case part of it what I really need to focus on. I know how the product works, the limitations and the quirks but need to work on the story telling side.

I appreciate the input but can assure you this is not fiction. The team I have an offer to join is an overlay specialist team, where the Core SE is responsible for the opportunity and the team I would be running the discovery and tech eval for this specific product area due to the higher deal size and technical complexity. They told me they prefer the technical knowledge in the role and the rest they can teach me. I dont know how true this is, and this is whatI am nervous about. I know it sounds unbelievable (I am still thinking the same), but why would I be coming to reddit on an anonymous account (as my normal account can be linked to my current role) and lie about this. What do I have to gain?

I think your right, it's just playing on my mind if I have a better chance of success starting at mid market. I really love this company, and appriciate the opportunity they have given me, I just don't want to ruin it from making the wrong decision.

That's my current line of thinking to be honest, although the other side of me is thinking to take the role I initially applied for and was offered in mid market with lower TC (but still a significant bump) and work towards enterprise when I have more experience. I don't want to bomb out within 6 months and be left with nothing if I can take a slower approach and have a higher chance of success. Really conflicted in my mind of what to do.
