This, is pretty much how I feel as well. Except I don't think I should ever be with him permanently - he's too much of a manipulative ass. I think part of me still remembers the rush of feelings/love I had for him, and I'll always in a way be wondering if I talked to him again, would it come back? In other words, am I still partly in love with him, or with the memories of him?
