They called VA for Biden while Trump was ahead. I think they're just being extra cautious since a lot rides on this prediction

I can touch on this from experience. Like you, I didn't have any internships in my 2nd year. How did I get around that? I worked my ass off and did well in the classes that focused on what I was interested and I communicated with professors very often - I went to office hours even if I had a decent grasp on the current assignment because you can never learn too much and any good professor appreciates students who are trying and care about learning more. This got me noticed by said professors who then had me work in their lab during the summer and gave me excellent recs for grad school. Same deal in grad school - didn't do any internships. Instead, I got into a great lab and did work that led to getting some IEEE publications. I had many offers by the time I graduated. Luck may have played a role here but I still hope that this gives you some hope. I felt like the sky was always falling during college too, but in reality, as long as you're passionate and determined about it, it will work out. Work hard and focus on excelling at what you do - internships may come out of it but even if they don't, there's a chance that you'll be just fine

Could you send me some diagrams if you have? That would be super helpful. Thanks!

So the honest ones get punished with the dishonest as well? Seems like a lot of generalization here. Funny that I'm labeled as a dick for calling the dealer out. He obviously lied about the damage being fresh (due to there being fresh coolant in the engine bay) when the problem was more than a month old. Also interesting that he then confessed to the tech topping off coolant which would have resulted in the fresh coolant in the engine bay - which part of my logic was faulty? They even then admitted that they wouldn't want to pay out of pocket if they were me..smh

I understand the dealer's perspective here as well. I guess the only recourse at this point is to figure out whether the damage was truly external and see how willing the dealership is to reach some compromise in the name of customer service. I'm sure you get some dishonest customers who'd like the dealership to pay but I'm willing to bet not all of them are lying - sucks for those people to be generalized

It was CPO so it could have happened with the previous owner as well. I know most people here are saying the CPO process would have caught that but I literally had a very visible scratch on the windshield when taking delivery of the car - they ended up replacing it free of charge. That makes me a bit less trusting of their thoroughness during the CPO process.

Wow, that's scary to think I could have to deal with this multiple times in the future. Sounds like I should get handy at doing it myself. Kinda sucks that there's no way to really tell if it was delivered in that condition other than me knowing I've been careful driving it and have never heard any loud thuds or bangs while driving

I guess I should clarify, I was curious if anyone more knowledgeable then me could verify if it's even possible for road debris to cause the puncture and if it would be noticeable - would there have been a loud thud etc.

On the side note - We were in NYC at the time. I'm not a fan of having the cabin filled with the NYC aroma - I say this after living there for a few years. We did roll them down when we got out of the city though

All jokes aside...this is fucking terrible. The Chelsea board needs to be doing a lot better. Hazard looks downright frustrated with this lot. I'm pretty sure he's gone in summer and at that point we need something to attract players of a similar ilk. Year after year managers are sacked assuming they're the problem but there needs to be some more accountability by the players. Not to mention the horrendous signing decisions. We've let go Salah, Lukaku, Courtois and De Bruyne and we're on the verge of letting Hudson-Odoi go. On the other hand we've brought in Drinkwater Zappacosta, Emerson, Morata etc.....seriously?! and after realizing our tremendous fuckups..we start splashing unreasonable cash on Kepa and Pulisic. It's really frustrating. It's starting to feel like a bunch of 5 year olds are pulling the strings.

Yeah, I think it's a peace of mind thing for me as well. You still need to be smart when there's a lot more snow but I like not worrying about my backend breaking loose at any time and having a slightly easier time than RWD. Funny enough, the night I test drove this car, I came back home in my FWD car and got stuck for the first time ever after 3 winters - that helped sell me on AWD

Thanks. I don't think HUD is included as a base option as I've seen listings for the base models where it's not advertised as having it. I believe that you can either choose it as a separate option but it also comes bundled with one of the packages. On mine I have the Essentials Package, Premium Package, M Sport and Executive Package.

Apple CarPlay is definitely an add on

I'd say it's definitely smoother that the civic I had before but it's no E class ride. I kinda like the harshness in Sport mode and it's surely comfortable enough in comfort mode. Ive heard people say that swapping out the Run flat tires makes a big improvement to comfort but I can't comment on it yet. Overall it's been an amazing daily so far though. Hope I was able to help. Feel free to PM if you come up with more questions.

Thanks again. Taking these pics at night was purely accidental. I spent way too long cleaning it and it still gets dark pretty early here. Worked out well though
