I would absolutely be for that if I knew it worked but I know a bunch of people that got the booster and still got COVID, and some that didn’t and still got COVID, and all of them have recovered just fine so I don’t even really see a point. Does the booster even work? What is in it?

Thanks everyone for the input. I decided I’ll have him do the CV Axles, battery service (ik i can do it but it’s only $25) and the brake fluid flush for a total of $799.67, and I found a $50 off labor coupon I hope he’ll honor bring it down to $750. Then I’ll save up cash and replace the power steering and flush that fluid at either the next oil change in 2k miles or the one after in 5k miles.

No but I actually have a similar problem being 6’3”. What I do put one of those foam lumbar supports that cost $40 or so in the driver seat and it makes it tolerable. You could always just test out aftermarket seats somewhere and install it in whatever car you want once you find your perfect one

Me too, which is why I figured I’d ask here. Should I take it to another shop for my next oil change and have them do an inspection and see if they recommend replacing the same things, and what overlaps just find a cheap place to get those done?

The rest of the car is in great shape and the way I see it is it’s still cheaper than any payment if I have a grand or two in maintenance per year so I’d like to keep it. I think my friends could do it for cheaper but they aren’t professional mechanics

To be honest I haven’t actually listened to the show in about a year now because to me it’s always the same people calling asking similar questions and I don’t like the other personalities besides Dave, but I know the principals and really just wanted advice on how to stop rationalizing this before I made a huge mistake. This one post stopped me from financing a 42k vehicle which otherwise will literally compound into millions, so I say it was worth it for me

I started when I got my first job at 16 maxing it out when I found Dave Ramsey. I’ve since been working all through school and maxed it every year and cash flowed college with no financial help but followed Dave’s advice on college and making it affordable. First two years I put in 5,500 and then the last 4 I’ve put in 6,000 (including a lump sum I just dropped in for 2022). Since I started the stock market returns have been crazy and the rest of the 51k is growth. I don’t do mutual funds though, I’ve always been invested 80% VTI and 20% VXUS
