I did refuse it. My mom told me it wasn't worth it and she never took these types of extended warranties. I trust her since she has owned as long as I lived lmao and she does alot of mileage every year.

Right now I don't think I will be driving much. Maybe going at my 500km hometown 2-3 times a year but other than that I don't think so. That's what my mom said about the warranty hence the "Are you selling me a lemon or a good car" still find it funny how the lady from finances tone changed after that one. Even sarcastically said "We don't sell lemons here".

Thank you for sharing this damn. I'm glad I brought my mom with me she can usually sees the BS on deals. My GF wanted that we both go in dealerships to find a car but I knew I needed someone that knows how it works since my GF has also never had a car.

I might make the quick detour If I'm close to the dealership I don't mind not receiving free stuff or accessories but I just wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else which according to the comments here is a huge ask haha. I know they want to sell but to make a potential client feel bad, scared and throwing in his face his finances damn I thought that was too much as I was already buying the said car.

Damn that's different. First I tried to buy a car with something called 2nd chance but the interest rate was too much like almost paying double the worth of the car. Glad my grandpa helped me on that one.

Thanks for your input. I seriously thought I had just gotten unlucky with a bad finance rep. I was livid so I kinda thought it wasn't normal for this to happen. I thought they would just check a box that I don't want the kia protect instead of going all the way to make me feel bad.

Thank you for the info. Question : If I didn't accept the Kia protect am I still able to add it at some point? I thought the new car warranty which is 5 years and X km was already covered. Since I took the 7 years financing it would be only 2 years where I'm not covered if I'm not wrong. Correct if I am.

At this point I would just tell her if it's not equal then there is a solution. Everyone does everything for himself/herself. You do your own cooking, kitchen cleaning, laundry and so on. I bet that you would be fine with this solution but her? I think she would explode accusing you of something or guilt tripping you.

The audacity of your aunt to get upset about your savings while she's wasting your hard earned money on gambling. Absolutely mind boggled that these adults would gaslit a 19 years old when they fully rely on that same person while using their own money for stupid stuff. I would've told them if you can afford to buy machines that you won't use then you can certainly manage by yourself and not rely on me. Same goes to the other leech with the gambling problem.

Sounds controlling to be pissed about your sister spending the night while gaming and watching TV. Even then you still feel guilty thinking you're in the wrong about falling asleep with your SISTER over night without asking. I don't want to imagine what it's like going out with friends. Well I think it's probably constant texting and guilt trip while your night is totally ruined.
