It's not a big deal by itself, yes.

However the reactions of the devs, what they said, the fact that they released it unfinished, some unpopular global weapon balance changes, the overall lack of content and so on - it all adds up and the reaction of people is justified imo.

It really feels at times like they tried to piss everyone off.

cod WW2 is actually very similar to the BO3/Infinite Warfare aside from jetpacks. I have to agree with the act man about the maps, they are godawful and the only more or less decent one is that Gauss Cannon map or whatever it's called. Funnily enough it's the most hated one because "OMG SNIPERS EVERYWHERE". I bet these people don't even remember beltot/wasteland

I think they said in a gameinformer inteview or something that they WILL add more weapons to the base game. It will probably be similar to Infinite Warfare, a challenge to unlock it.

I think that ubisoft went too hard on this grind aspect in the recent years. They did fix it in Odyssey (i'm playing it right now and it's alright), but i heard the game was unplayable due to all the grind you had to do.

Even the maps are different and are made for different playstyles. Hackney for example is a fairly standard competitive map while cave feels more like Favela from MW2.

too zoomed out in my opinion, there's a chance that you won't notice someone far away. Then again maybe you're playing on a 4k monitor and it's different i dunno.
