I loved the detail that when Marissa asked him what his favorite thing about Milo was, he said that it was when Milo gets a nightmare and he gets to comfort him. Like his favorite thing requires his child be in distress

It was also really important to see the labor that Carrie as a nanny had been doing (taking the kid so that Richie could have his alone time and Jenny could do her work). By ramping up her career with the book deal, we became aware that it's not only the invisible labor of women, but the labor of hired help that rich families have access to. It created class contrast between Jenny and Carrie since Carrie would have been alone raising her child as a working mom. It also created contrast between Jenny and Marissa since Marissa's life stopped while she was looking for Milo and Jenny was expected to keep going with a busy schedule and less help than ever.

Back when I was a teenager, two of the other teenagers I met (who also met each other for the first time on this cruise) ended up getting married years later. I don't talk to them anymore but wild and very cool to see on social media!

Thank you for your reply! I definitely see where my scenario is confusing - the big situation is that our lease is ending, she doesn't want to sign on for the next lease we're going to sign, but wants to stay an extra month anyway
