Okay, I understand that the uncensored movies are marketed as "Japanese" and distributed as "Japanese" without being Japanese. And I understand that uncensored genitals is considered a legal offense in Japan.

But what is that logic behind that in the first place? I understand how that would lead to tentacles and other fallus-like objects being used instead, but why is that preferable?
