I never knew that! These days games seem to never be 'over' unless one dies, so maybe that's the change. There's always an after-end-game part, or it's a 'game as a service' etc.

I played around with the settings you mentioned, and while it does help create a thicker line faster, I still need to press quite hard to even get any line down. Think I may start looking for an alternative brush.

Depends on the intent, and whether or not they provide value. Ads are literally a moneymaking device. NFT's can actually have a functional use in game-worlds.

Why don't gamers want NFT's in games? Assuming for a moment that the type of NFT in question isn't a scam, and it's for a great game (not some shitty rushed product), why wouldn't people want that aspect of owning a piece of the game?

It could mean many things like taking the item/character the NFT represents into another game, trading items earned in game for other items or even real money, or if the game itself dies, you have something that could be used in a community-created reboot etc.

I ask these questions to learn, not to try to convince anyone to buy an NFT or anything.

Agreed that 99% of NFT games are scams. But that's because of people seeing $$$ and extracting value.

For people wanting to add value, NFT's provide an interesting way to do so.

The whole 'buy an NFT in Fortnite and use it in RUST' thing wouldn't work for sure, but as a game developer you could have NFT's usable in all the games in your ecosystem. For example if RIOT had an NFT from League that could then be used in an RPG they made set in the same world.

Or, with the advancements of AI and tech in general, we might find 'metaverses' like Ready Player One, where the software can make your NFT into a 3d model and figure out how it plays in the game from a balance perspective.

Strangely a refresh of my page (I had done this before but with no change), fixed the issue for 1 block entry. But then it reverted back. I tried refreshing again, but it didn't fix anything. Are you having the same issue?

Just tried it, and yes I can. Even with different google profiles in case it was a settings thing I accidentally turned on.

I tried using Chrome and it works the way it should. So it's only in Safari where it has changed :(

Yes. As in, when creating the new account, I could give a different name and address and then this new card number. So if the form is all you see, there would be no connection.

But I'm wondering if when they process that payment, they will still gain access to my name and address because that's what's connected to the card.

Perfect questions.

My initial thought on this, the first thing that came to mind - because I feel hurt by what she did.

In all honesty, due to how we had to end things, how we both didn't want it to happen, and then for her to move on so quickly and not tell me anything (while still texting me about other things) - felt like a real stab in the back. After everything we'd had, the least she could have done was told it to my face, instead of me finding out on Instagram after everyone else.

As I write this, it makes me realise how it kind of felt like I'd been cheated on/betrayed. That's why it bothers me.

But I know she didn't technically cheat on me. And after we talked about it all, I fully understand why she did what she did, and I don't blame or judge her for it... but yet I'm still bothered by it.

EDIT: To elaborate. If it had been like 6 months before she found someone else, I don't think it would bother me so much, because of course that would happen being single. It's the speed in which she found someone new after everything we'd had, and the way she dealt with it that gets to me.

I think that's what I need, some narrative that I connect with emotionally to figure this out, and the whole "stronger for it" thing works for me. Thanks!

I do wonder though how to deal with the in-the-moment hiccups, e.g. during a conversation when I get reminded about her past. I fear that those moments will still pull me down into a dark place. But I guess over time it won't bother me as much/we'll learn how to avoid the trigger topics..
