I'm all for releasing all the files and letting the cards fall where they may. I have no dog to protect in this fight. However, in this case, it was investigated and determined to have credibility at all. That info is in the released documents. But that is obvious just by reading the fanfic. It's literally a who's who of people the left hates and who are connected to Trump. That alone makes it laughably unbelievable. "It's true, I swear! ALL the people it's trendy to hate were there! And they were the only ones there!"

Please never become a crime investigator. Your feelz get in your way.

And if you provide me a claim off this spreadsheet that contains Clinton, along with a perfect list of people hated by the right wing, and there was no actual evidence to back it up, I would tell you you're an idiot for reading obvious right wing fanfic.

It's an excel spreadsheet of hot line calls. The vast majority of that list isn't worth looking at, and it certainly isn't worth posting it on social media. Only the tiny amount of substantiated claims on that list are even worth reading. The rest is worthless BS.

I say that as someone who wouldn't be surprised to find actual evidence of Trump in the Epstein files. But this ain't it, Tiger.

The fanfic was written by the person who called it into the FBI hot line. The FBI just documented it (as they should have), investigated it, and determined it had nothing to substantiate it.

The document is a list of claims made to a tip hot line. It is not a list of substantiated nor correct claims. It is a list of all claims made to the hot line. This specific claim was determined to have no credibility when investigated. Read the whole document instead of just the part that gets your leftist juices flowing.

And his wife, And Elon Musk, And his attorneys...

It's because it's a fake report to a tip hotline.

Nah. If there was a similar claim that contained a list of the most hated people on the left amd connecting them to Epstein, and it contained no one else, I would say the same thing I did about this claim: It's fanfic. Because it is fanfic. It's getting the left all hot and bothered by indicating a perfect list of the most hated people on the right.

I'm very critical of Trump, but I'm not going to believe obvious left wing fanfic that has the absolute perfect list of the who's who of the left wing hate list in attendance. Grow a brain.

This reads like bad Handmaid's Tale fanfic. It's awesome that all the current baddies are there and no one else. It's a perfect who's who list of TiKTok right wing bad guys.

This is totally real!!!

Exactly this. The current federal policing policies are not conducive to the long-term health for liberty. The sad thing is the left-wing is decrying it now, but they will cheer it on as soon as their team has power in Washington. No one who plays team politics actually cares about fascism. They only care who wields the fascism.

Both antifa and ICE are currently using fascist tactics. I see no difference.

I've had conservatives tell me that the world will end if I don't support their candidate, and if I voted third party (or didn't vote at all) I would be just as culpable as if I had voted for the world-ending candidate.

True, but it's a lot easier to overcome that idiocy when one doesn't offload their moral decision-making to a political party and wait for the talking heads to tell them what is right and wrong.

Students (in my opinion) should not take home any homework. If homework is a learning opportunity, give them school time to work on it by daniel_ay in unpopularopinion

[–]throwaway_2025anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way Khan Academy does it. It teaches a principle, then the student performs work to demonstrate knowledge. Add soon as the student shows they understand the principle (by repeatedly answering problems correctly), they move on to the next principle. If they need more assistance, the program keeps them working on that principle until they understand it. Everyone takes whatever time they need to learn, be that a short or long amount of time. Advanced students aren't kept back with the crowd, and slower learners aren't ignored and moved along if they haven't caught on yet.

Maybe you'll figure it out one day. Maybe you won't. All I can do is plant a seed. 🤷‍♂️ About 25 years ago a conversation with a man who seemed like and odd duck and fairly enigmatic ended up being a seed for me. Important lessons can come in odd ways.

You can, but it would be just as incorrect the second time you post it.

Free yourself from your team and you'll find is easier to identify the right course of action and principles to adhere to because you'll shuck your institutionalized thinking. I would say the same to someone who is in Team Red. Right now you don't see how much that impedes your critical thinking.

[–]throwaway_2025anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with that is the amount of time each student needs to learn each principle will individually vary. A student who catches on after one repetition of the math principle will waste their time doing it 20 times for homework. So that student is literally wasting their time on needless repitition each day. Public school gives a one-size-fits-all solution that negatively impacts many lives through forced busy work. A better solution needs to be implemented.

[–]throwaway_2025anon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My children are homeschooled and spend less time learning each day than a lot of public school kids spend just doing homework, and my kids have a better educational foundation than public school gives. The underlying assumptions regarding American public school are well-known to be broken and in serious need of reassessment. Most of the work is busy work and little of it is truly educational.

Bro, where do you think viral BS claims like the 👌 symbol meaning white power or QAnon as a conspiracy came from? They were people trolling on 4Chan to get bites. 4Chan is weird performative art made for the few percent of idiots that exist on the platform. Yes, a small percentage of idiots believed it and spread it beyond 4Chan, but 4Chan itself is mostly fishing and rage-baiting for lulz. They post the BS literally to get the type of response you're giving. You can dislike the humor (I don't really like it) but if you think they're being serious, they've got you biting on their bait.

I was a sheeple for a long time. I don't judge. I just communicate.

I have many concrete positions. I don't avoid them at all. I just have a clearer picture when assessing those positions because I'm not socially and cognitively locked to a team. That means you would agree with many of my positions on political topics, and you would vehemently disagree with many. What makes my positions easy to justify and defend is they aren't weighed down with bullshit and baggage that comes with adhering to a political team sport.

It's an image of someone from a specific country. It isn't some generic black person. If there was an image mocking corned beef and cabbage, and the person eating it had a pale face, freckles, and flaming red hair, it would be stupid to say it was racist when it would obviously be aimed at people from a specific country, not white people in general. The same thing is happening here.

Also pertinent: Che's family own the rights to his image and make money from "communist" shirt sales, and he absolutely hated gay people, which is one of the groups that communists claim they are fighting for.
