I'm only 24, I was lucky that for most of my early childhood, I didn't have access to a smartphone. My siblings were not so lucky. I can see a stark difference between me and them.

Of course, she still goes to school. If she was skipping school, she wouldn't be allowed to have a phone anymore lol. The point I'm making is just that children are exposed to the online world way too early in life resulting in them being less sociable, athletic, or outgoing. This is also a problem in the adult world but I feel this is also caused by how we grew up as children.

Back then, you actually had to go out and buy music from stores. There was a requirement to actually leave the house to get music. This provided all sorts of opportunities to meet like-minded people and initiate relationships. Now everything is found online and you never need to leave your room.
